Healing from trauma is a deeply personal journey, and taking the first step toward therapy takes courage. I am committed to creating a safe, supportive space where you can feel heard, respected, and empowered as you navigate this process.
My approach is trauma-informed, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based therapies. Together, we will work to process trauma, identify limiting beliefs, recognize unhelpful patterns, and develop healthier coping strategies to foster resilience and meaningful change.
While my primary focus is trauma, I also support individuals managing anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and significant life stressors. In addition, I have a deep commitment to working with first responders who face the unique challenges of high-stress environments and repeated exposure to trauma. I understand the impact of this work and strive to provide a space where first responders can process their experiences, build resilience, and strengthen their overall well-being.
As a racialized woman, I recognize how culture and identity shape mental health experiences. I believe therapy should honour your unique background, values, and challenges, and I strive to create an inclusive space where these experiences are acknowledged and valued.
The therapeutic relationship is one of the most important factors in the healing process. If you feel that my experience and approach may be a good fit, I invite you to book a free 15-minute consultation so we can connect and see how I can support you.
